Organized interviews for those interested in participating in the state conference in order to form a strong team. We encouraged them to showcase their talents during their interview presentations so that we could also form teams for different events.

A former TSA president came to Parkview to talk about his college experience and advice he had for us about the college admission process and high school preparation.

We hosted an informational meeting about various competitions outside of TSA. Afterward, we offered students the chance to work in the TSA room after school, providing support as needed while allowing them to take the lead. This initiative gave non-competition participants a leadership opportunity, encouraging them to form their own teams and compete independently.

During FLC, we gave the chance for members to present with us and have an opportunity to practice public speaking skills.

We took a group of TSA members to Georgia Tech to attend an informational session and tour the campus.

As an initiative to help members learn new skills we had an officer that had proficient coding skills share his experience and help teach others.

After attending the Fall Leadership Conference we were inspired to host our own local conference. The TSA officers will give 15-minute presentations to all CTSO clubs on February 18th, offering valuable information and advice from their own high school experiences. Topics will range from public speaking skills to how to obtain internships.

Once a month we encourage members to dress up in professional or state attire to not only look like a leader, but feel like a leader.
